Shipping & Delivery

How can I check my order status?

Follow the journey of your Brolly with ease. Once your order is processed, you'll
receive a confirmation email with your tracking number, allowing you to look
forward to your delivery with assurance.

How long does my order take?

Most orders are processed on the same day, so you can expect to receive your Brolly
within 3-5 working days, protecting you from the unpredictability of British
weather. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number to follow its
journey.

My package is lost, what can I do?

When placing an order, please make sure you specify the correct delivery address. Brolly's are not responsible for missing parcels that have been sent to the wrong address or that have been requested to leave with neighbour, outbuilding or safe place.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

How do I return my order?

Brolly's offers a 14 day return policy, from the date of delivery. You must let us know
in writing before the end of this period.

Please note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will not be covered by Brolly's.

All items must be in their original, unused condition, with all tags, protective
materials and packaging returned in perfect state. Failure to follow these
directions will result in the refusal of your refund request.

 

How can I request a refund?

You can do this by replying to your
order confirmation email or contacting info@thebrollys.com with your order
number.

To qualify for a refund or exchange:

  • Items must be unused.
  • All tags and packaging must be included.

 Items that do not meet these requirements are not eligible for refund.

When can I expect to be refunded?

We will refund your order to the original payment method once it has been processed at our facility.

  • Please be aware this can take 7-14 days after the order arriving. You will be notified once a refund has been made.
  • We are unable to refund purchases to a different payment method than the one used to purchase the items.

Are there any additional costs when returning my order?

Please note we are not responsible for paying any customs charges (import duty or tax) on any returns. You will be responsible for all costs and charges associated with returning your order. We recommend you return your order via a tracked shipping method, or request a proof of postage receipt, as we cannot refund lost returns.

I have received a faulty item, can I exchange it?

In the event you have received a faulty item, please contact info@thebrollys.com within 14 days of the item(s) arriving. Please include the following information:

  • Your order number
  • Which item is damaged
  • A description of the problem
  • Photographic evidence

Is my Brolly windproof?

Absolutely! Our Brolly's have fibre-glass enforced, iron ribs to counter even the strongest of winds. The reverse folding mechanism also means that the hinge deflects gusts, rather than fighting them. If you’re looking for a durable, windproof umbrella, this model offers excellent stability and long-lasting performance. 

Is my Brolly waterproof, or water-resistant?

Fully waterproof! Your Brolly's canopy is knitted with premium 210t pongee, making it impenetrable and instantly moisture repellent. This means faster drying times and better protection from heavy rainfall - perfect if you want a reliable, waterproof umbrella for your daily commute.

How big is my Brolly?

When fully opened, the canopy diameter measures 110CM, providing full coverage for up to 2 people.

When compact your Brolly measures 33CM, fitting easily in your handbag, backpack, or car door - ideal for travel and every day use.

Does my Brolly have UV protection?

Yes! Yes, the underside canopy coating offers UPF 50+ UV protection,
helping block harmful sun rays on bright days. It’s not just a rain accessory —
it’s also a UV-resistant umbrella that
keeps you cool and protected in summer.

Does my Brolly come with any warranty or guarantee?

Absolutely.
Every umbrella comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If you experience any issues, our customer support team will happily arrange a replacement or repair. We stand by the quality of our umbrellas for long-term satisfaction.

Caring for your Brolly

1. Rinse After Rain

Shake off any excess water and, if possible, rinse to remove and dirt or pollution.

2. Air Dry

Open and allow your Brolly to air dry to prevent mildew.

3. Wipe It Down

Use a soft cloth and mild soap to gently clean your Brolly canopy.

4. Avoid Using Harsh Chemicals

Do not use any strong detergents as they can damage the fabric and UV coating.

5. Spot Clean Stains

Dab stains with a damp cloth before they set in. The quicker you are the more likely you'll be able to remove them.

6. Freshen With Vinegar Solution

Mix equal parts vinegar and water and give your Brolly a light spray, this will neutralise any odours.

7. Check The Frame

Wipe down the handle and metal parts to prevent build up.

8. Store In A Cool Dry Place

Never leave your umbrella in a damp bag or car boot - moisture breeds smell.

9. Keep Away From Strong Heat Sources

Never dry your Brolly on a radiator or heater. It can potentially warp the frame and cause fire hazard.
